With Skyrim and Fallout I've always just modded and unmodded at will. Paste that folder into the 'mods' folder you created before. Next, download the mod, extract the 7zip/rar archive, and copy the folder that begins with 'mod'. The Witcher 3, while an immensely popular game does not have as many mods as the Elder Scrolls games, or some paradox games, but due to its popularity it does have quite a few really good ones, that I feel can help revitalize this already breathtaking and immersive game. I've never played this before and don't want to do so with gratuitous amounts of T and A ruining my immersion. create a folder called 'mods' (without quotes of course) in your witcher 3 installation folder (the folder in which you can find other folders, for example 'bin' and 'content'. Maybe because the old save files are still backed up to steam? How can I fix this? Can I save my old game somehow? Will I need to manually erase the old saves and reinstall AGAIN? Please help. I deleted local content (steam) and re-downloaded and reinstalled the whole game, STILL no luck. You can disable it by entering the command into the console again (it is a toggle command). After enabling god mode, you will be invincible and not take damage from any enemies, falls, etc.
Very often, installing modifications for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is much more complex. I found the correct mod (an extra file under that main mod's page), and I deleted the wrong mod with NMM, no luck. To enable god mode in Witcher 3, enter the following command into the console: god. Figure 1 is a screenshot of my NMM without any mods installed. I was trying to install the mod to remove the patched-in undergarments, but ended up turning my whole game into softcore.
Just pay attention under the description tab on nexus mods and the mod creator usually explains how to install it. I installed a few mods with NMM and one of them was apparently not the correct mod, as all the female characters are now naked all the time. Ya, the vast majority of mods, you just download, unzip the folder and drop it in your Witcher 3Mods folder - if you havent created a Mods folder yet, just go ahead and create one.
